Personal Care Assistant for a person P/T@ £13.75/hr in Yarm - FTE - £26.8k

We are looking to recruit a team of female personal assistants to support a female wheelchair user with personal care, medications, monitoring of health conditions and domestic tasks including cleaning, cooking/baking and assisting with other tasks around the home as needed.

A range of contracted hours per week are available so the roles would suit those wanting to make a real difference to others by working in a caring role, while needing school friendly hours / flexible working hours / job share.

Due to the personal care element of this role, we can only accept applications from female candidates.

Duties to include support in accessing the community and attending appointments when health permits will be needed so the role requires a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence.
Own transport is not essential, as client has a Motability Vehicle.

The successful candidate will need to be considerate of care needs and home environment and take pride in providing a high level of care and support. Applicants must be able to respect privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.

No experience of formal care work is required. If you have a kind, caring and empathetic nature, are trustworthy and are willing to learn individual needs and prioritise privacy and dignity this is the role for you.

Post is subject to references and an Enhanced DBS check.
(The cost of this will be met by the employer)
