Personal Care Assistant

Would you like to make a real difference to someone’s life by enabling them to live independently and giving support exactly when and how it’s needed?

The job: We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistants to join our team in the Carnforth area. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to a lady with complex health needs, ensuring at all times her comfort, safety, and well-being.

The support is required overnight and tasks include:

  • Monitoring her BiPAP
  • Assisting with continence
  • Monitoring blood sugars
  • Administration of medication
  • Some domestic tasks, such as washing, drying, cleaning

The right person: The ideal candidate is someone who has some experience of providing care and support to individuals, particularly providing support to people with complex health conditions.

The hours: 30 hours waking night shifts per week to be worked between the hours of 10.00pm - 08.00am. There will be a 2 week rolling rota in place:

  • Week 1 = Monday night, Tuesday night, Saturday night and Sunday night
  • Week 2 = Wednesday Night, Thursday night and Friday night

The rates of pay and benefits: PAs are paid £15.89 per hour. You will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.
