Personal Care Assistant for a lady who lives in the Trimdon area £12.21 per hour - TRIMDON STATION - TS29

Job Description

Personal Care Assistant required for a lady who lives in the Trimdon area.

4-6 hours per week and extra hours to cover holidays and other absences. PA is required to provide support to a lady with a visual impairment.

Wage rate: £12.21 per hour

Duties include:
  1. Help and support with grocery shopping either online or in supermarket.
  2. Help and support getting to and during outdoor activities with eight-year-old son.
  3. Support getting to and attending social activities.
  4. Help and support getting to and attending health and fitness activities.
  5. Help reading post and any other information that may be in print and inaccessible.
  6. Support with any other shopping.
  7. Assistance with odd jobs around the house.
  8. Support and assistance when free running guide dog.
  9. Assistance on outdoor activities e.g. walks.
  10. Assistance to, from and during appointments.
  11. Occasional assistance with cleaning and clearing in the house if needed.
  12. Assistance with small DIY jobs in the house.

Experience preferred but not essential.

Successful applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS check carried out prior to commencement.
