Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. in Norwich is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support a 69-year-old lady with advanced MS.

This part-time role covers 09:00–11:00 on Monday and Thursday, paid at £15.00 per hour. Training and a DBS check will be provided.

You will assist with personal care, meal prep, domestic tasks and activities to promote independence, with driving license and local living desirable.

Personal Care Assistant for a lady P/T @ £15.00/hr in Norwich

Job description: I am a 69-year-old lady with advanced MS. I am in a wheelchair and have the use of my right arm and hand only. I need another Personal Assistant/Carer for job share.

I require a bespoke diet from a personalised assessment, training and instruction will be given in the preparation of some foods.

I am an artist, mainly for self-therapy but I exhibit regularly in Norwich at the Forum, for this I will need some assistance. Again training and instruction will be given.

There is the possibility of more hours when covering shifts for the other PAs. I am very flexible and have a number of PAs to ensure work and time off as needed.

Summary terms and conditions: Rate of pay for this position is £15.00 hour.

· Hours and times of work: 09:00 to 11:00 on a Monday and Thursday.

· Annual holiday entitlement for this position is 1 hour for every 8 hours worked.

· Free annual training: Data Protection, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and Personal Care.

The post is subject to the following:

· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
