Personal Care Assistant for a 7 year old boy in LS17 - 4 hours a week @ £12.40 per hour - Leeds - LS17

HOURS: 4 hours a week (usually weekends, weekdays possible during school holidays)

LOCATION: LS17 8, Based initially at home and moving forward in the community

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To support my 7 year old son who has autism and communication difficulties. He is an affectionate little boy who is able to communicate his wants and needs through single words but needs encouragement to expand his language. This is a great opportunity to share meaningful experiences with a wonderful young boy and to enhance your CV.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Support him at home to build a relationship through activities including playing, drawing, and singing nursery rhymes.
2. Progress to playing in the garden and taking him out to the park, soft play area, etc.
3. Ensure the safety of my son at all times, as he has no sense of danger.
4. Supervise my son at all times and do not allow him to be alone.

REQUIREMENTS:

The PA must have experience working with SEN children, be punctual, honest, and fun-loving.
