Personal Care Assistant

This role is to support a Man

Employment status: employed

Hours per week: 24 hours per week

Hourly pay rate: £14 per hour

I am 21 year old fun-loving adult with complex abilities looking to employ a new PA to join my friendly team. To achieve this, I am looking for a fun, fit and outgoing people to assist me with my care needs and to help me live life to the full.

I am a wheelchair user and require 24 hour support for all my care needs from my family and friendly team of PAs. I have two carers at all time. Currently I am in Higher Education and enjoy activities such as going for lunch, attending live football matches (Brighton & Hove of course), rock concerts, wildlife parks, the beach etc.

I also enjoy playing video games, old style board games and just going for a drink at the pub.
Outgoing, engaging & supportive and a good sense of humour feature highly in our requirements for new PAs.

Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
