We are seeking a caring individual to join our support team as a bank worker, assisting a young lady with complex health needs who lives independently in Poynton. Your responsibilities include building a supportive relationship with the client, providing healthcare support such as personal care, medication administration, nutrition, and moving and handling, always following instructions from senior team members. You will participate in the on-call rota and offer social and emotional support, helping the client access community activities.
Ideal candidates are reliable, trustworthy, kind, and caring, with the ability to work as part of a team and use their initiative. Flexibility in availability is essential. Candidates must have a full clean driving license and be willing to drive the client’s wheelchair accessible vehicle (manual gears), meeting insurance requirements. The role involves working within the client’s home and the wider community, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and waking nights. Physical fitness and comfort with water activities are necessary, as the client enjoys indoor and outdoor physical activities and swimming.
