(8e1f) I am looking to recruit a Female Personal Care Assistant to support me. I have complex health needs. I live in my own home in Burnley, Lancashire.

The role involves providing clinical and personal care, supporting hobbies and interests, health monitoring with relevant responses, maintaining personal safety, and administering medications. Training in clinical interventions will be provided. This list is not exhaustive.

You will work independently as part of an experienced team, with full support during induction, including comprehensive training in all aspects of clinical and other duties.

You will work in my home, which is adapted for support. Everyone works well together in a supportive environment.

The Right Person

No prior care experience is necessary, but essential attributes include empathy, enthusiasm, a calm demeanor, willingness to learn and adapt, initiative, reliability, and flexibility. Respect for my space and privacy is essential.

You must have a full UK driving license and be able to drive my WAV vehicle.

The Hours

The hours are 8am to 8pm, 24 hours per week on a rota basis, at £14.45 per hour.

You will receive 5.6 weeks of paid leave.

The successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check, paid for by the employer.

Flexibility to cover additional shifts across 7 days to support sickness and holidays is preferred.
