Job description

We are looking for an active PA with good knowledge of Autism and safeguarding safety plans and an understanding of the importance of equal opportunities to support our 15 year old to build confidence and develop social skills.

The applicant will need to have good spoken English, a clean driving license and use of own car with appropriate insurance. He enjoys playing sports (particularly cycling), music, playing instruments and spending time outdoors (e.g. with horses). To start with, support will start within the home to build a relationship, which, will then lead to activities outside of the home.

Supporting the family and helping with household chores will be part of your role. There are dogs within the family home so a liking of pets is essential.

Hours and Pay:

  • 10 hours per week which will be mutually agreed, this could be weekday and/or weekends.
  • £14.00 per hour
  • 4 weeks paid holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays is applicable, as is access to a workplace pension.

Requirements:

  • Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ideally have knowledge of safety plans and experience with working with people with Autism.
