A supportive agency is looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to help a 15-year-old gain confidence and develop social skills. The role involves supporting tasks at home and engaging in outdoor activities like cycling. Job description

*We are seeking an active PA with good knowledge of Autism and safeguarding safety plans, as well as an understanding of the importance of equal opportunities, to support our 15-year-old in building confidence and developing social skills.

* The applicant should have good spoken English, a clean driving license, and access to their own car with appropriate insurance.

* The candidate should enjoy sports (particularly cycling), music, playing instruments, and spending time outdoors (e.g., with horses). Support will initially be provided within the home to build a relationship, which will then extend to activities outside of the home.

* Supporting the family and assisting with household chores will be part of the role. A liking of pets is essential as there are dogs within the family home.

Hours:

* 10 hours per week, mutually agreed, which could be weekdays and/or weekends.

Rate of pay:

* £14.00 per hour. 4 weeks paid holiday (pro-rata) plus bank holidays are applicable, as is access to a workplace pension.

* The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check (to be provided) and will commence once a clear check is received.
