Job Description

Two posts available for Personal Assistants to support a young child with a disability in the Crook area.

Details
  • Hours/Wage: £12.00 per hour
  • Schedule: 6 hours per week on Saturday or Sunday (flexible with employer). During school holidays, an additional 9 hours per week are available. There are also additional hours from Monday to Friday, currently 2 hours per week, up to a maximum of 10 hours to cover holidays or sickness of other workers.
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the client to access the community and activities.
  • Personal care: assisting with getting the client up from bed, dressing, and preparing for school (approx. 6:50 am – 7:50 am).
  • Supporting with feeding and showering (approx. 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm).
Additional Requirements
  • Experience not essential; training will be provided.
  • Driver’s license and access to a car are preferred but not essential.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure is required; costs covered by the employer.
