The Role

Personal Assistant to the Principal

Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 10 days

Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover) until June 2026 or return of the post holder

We seek to appoint an experienced and highly effective Personal Assistant to support the Principal at UTC Leeds. This is a key role and requires a charismatic individual who is highly experienced in managing a multi-faceted schedule, whilst remaining always responsive to the individual needs of parents, pupils, staff and of course the Principal. Acting as the first line of contact for the Principal, you will converse with a wide range of stakeholders whilst operating to the highest professional standards.You will also manage a small team of administrators. With a proven track record of successful support to a senior leader, ideally in an education setting, the successful candidate will;

  • be highly organised and with excellent attention to detail;
  • have strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • be IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office packages;
  • be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy;
  • be able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
