About Small Heath Leadership Academy

Small Heath Leadership Academy in Birmingham is a secondary school for 11 to 18-year-olds. We joined Star Academies in 2018, and like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.

The school was rated ‘good’ in all four areas of the inspection framework during its inspection in May 2022.

We are an ambitious school with high expectations for all pupils. We provide a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that fosters character and inspires charitable and social action. Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking a talented individual to provide exceptional business support to our pupils, teachers, and wider stakeholders. As a key member of our school’s business support team, your expertise will help create an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have extensive experience in delivering outstanding customer service and the ability to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

  • A*-B or 9-5 in English and Maths at GCSE
  • Experience in a senior administrative role
  • Experience in minuting meetings and undertaking follow-up actions
  • The ability to work effectively with a variety of partners and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
