Job Description:

Are you experienced in administrative and PA roles within an academic research environment? Do you excel at organizing and establishing processes to support efficient work?

We are seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to join our ICTU Administrative team, supporting Victoria Cornelius, Professor of Medical Statistics and Trial Methodology, Director of Imperial Clinical Trials Unit, and Co-Director of NIHR RSS Imperial and Partners hub.

  • Provide comprehensive, proactive, and adaptable PA support to the ICTU Director
  • Collaborate effectively and build meaningful connections with colleagues across ICTU, the Faculty of Medicine, and external partners
  • Manage complex diaries, organize travel, raise purchase orders, coordinate meetings, support workshops and seminars, and handle related paperwork and electronic filing
  • Create and format presentations and dissemination materials
  • Demonstrate excellent administrative skills and experience in a PA or research role
  • Show strong attention to detail, passion for research support, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be motivated, well-organized, and possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as Microsoft 365, databases, and reference managers
