Hi, my name is Sheena, and I am 40 years old. I have Myalgic Encephalomyeltis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), which causes profound fatigue after very little exertion. I am looking for support with personal care including washing and dressing, meal preparation/batch cooking, and a little housework including laundry for 10 hours per week over two days.

I am looking for someone with the the following qualities:

  • Friendly
  • Reliable
  • Open to learning
  • Ideally you would have experience with disability and/or chronic illness, but this is not a requirement.

I like to chat about books, TV/music, and previously worked as a support worker/care assistant. I am interested in mental health/psychology, science/science fiction, wildlife/gardening. Sometimes I try to learn languages.

The job is in a peaceful house with a friendly dog. It is flexible with the hours to be worked and may be arranged to fit in with other jobs/responsibilities, so an ideal job for a student or if you have other work or dependants. Free parking, tea/coffee and access to a nice garden. Training and information about ME/CFS are provided for you as necessary.
