Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network in Troon invites applications for a Support Worker – Personal Assistant to help a client live independently. You will provide personal care, support daily routines, prepare meals, and assist with light housework, with shifts that include 12-hour and 24-hour options.

This role offers a pay rate of £13.45 per hour with private room and overnight sleep shifts where available; full orientation and PVG disclosure will be arranged.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is helpful but not essential.
• Two up-to-date references from a present or previous employer.
• PVG enhanced disclosure required; cost borne by employer.
• Probation period of 6 months.
• Either party may end employment with one week's notice during probation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including showering, dressing and mobility assistance.
• Support morning and evening routines.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal times.
• Assist with light household tasks as needed.
• Maintain routine and help the client live independently.
