Personal Assistant required for family in Lingwood, NR13 - 5 hours per week @ £12.88 p/h - Norwich - NR13

Job description: Listed below are details of the purpose and general tasks of the job. It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.
Job Purpose: I am looking for a personal assistant to support myself and my two children with daily tasks at home. We mainly need support with weekly meal planning and preparing nutritious home cooked meals. I also required support to manage the after school schedule.
Location: NR13, Lingwood
Details:
· Support preparing home cooked meals for the family.
· Support with meal planning and writing a shopping list.
· Support to establish a structured routine and help with after school schedule.
· Prompting to maintain my personal hygiene (personal care not included in the role).
· Support with managing finances and paperwork. Returning deliveries via the post office.
· Domestic tasks including changing bed linen and putting away washing.
· Trips out locally with the children
· Complete any other household/family tasks deemed necessary.
· Dog walking
Person specification
Essential:
· Family orientated and good with children
· Ability to cook
· Friendly, caring, punctual, reliable and trustworthy
· Empathetic listener
· Common sense and good organisational skills
· Confident around dogs.
Desirable:
Experience working in domestic care
Summary terms and conditions:
· The rate of pay for this position is £12.88 per hour.
· Hours and times of work: 5 hours per week. Days and times are flexible and will be discussed at interview. It would be ideal if you are able to include one 1.5 hour shift per week between 4.00pm and 6.00 pm.
· Free training can be provided to employed staff.
· If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
The post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
