Position Details

Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Manchester, North West

Hourly Rate: £12.15

Hours Per Week: Monday and Tuesday waking nights 8pm – 8am / Wednesday evening 4:30pm – 10pm

Vacancy Type: Permanent

About the Role

I am a young gentleman in my early 20s with complex health needs, living at home with my family and our pet dog. I am very active and enjoy spending time at home and in the community with my care team. I play and coach wheelchair football, go out for food, visit the cinema, and walk the dog. At home, I enjoy watching films and playing on my Xbox. I communicate well and have a good awareness of my needs and the support I require.

About You

You will assist me with personal care, medication administration, moving and handling (including transfers and repositioning during the night), and support with ventilation and suctioning as needed. A full, clean driving license is essential for community access, and candidates must meet motor insurance requirements.

All roles are subject to DBS checks and are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Employment is conditional upon receipt of two satisfactory references.
