About the Role

I am a young 18-year-old gentleman living at home with my family. I have Lowe Syndrome with Fanconi Syndrome, which includes complex needs such as Epilepsy. I am nonverbal, which can make communication challenging. I am seeking caring, patient Personal Assistants to support my needs and get to know me, respecting my family homes.

I live between my Mum & Dad’s homes, where all my care needs are catered for. You will support me at both addresses, getting to know my unique requirements, including personal and medical care, PEG feeding, respiratory needs, medication, epilepsy, mobility, and communication. Support will be tailored to my pace to help me stay happy and safe.

Training will be provided through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke program. All mandatory and specialized training will be available annually.

About You

You should be calm, friendly, fun, flexible, and unphased by health needs. You will need to support me in the evenings (2:1 support) to ensure my safety and assist with my bedtime routines and seizure management.

Benefits

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, holiday entitlement (pro-rata for part-time), pension scheme after 3 months, access to health plans, free training, wellbeing tools, rewards, and more.
