Enable is seeking Personal Assistants in Glasgow to support people with learning disabilities in daily life. You will work 38 or 30 hours per week across mixed shifts, helping with personal care and activities while promoting independence.

No prior care experience is required; Enable values transferable skills and a compassionate, customer-centred approach. Training and SVQ funding may be provided where needed.

Meet Billy

Billy is a friendly gentleman with a learning disability who is looking for caring and dedicated support staff to join his team.

Billy is a wheelchair user and is non-verbal, however he understands direction and instruction very well. Staff who support Billy should be patient, attentive and include him in all aspects of daily life and activities.

Billy enjoys spending time with others and especially loves visits from his mum, dad, sister and brother-in-law. He enjoys getting out and about on outings, watching people and traffic, and being involved in everything going on around him. One of Billy's favourite activities is attending his music group, which he really enjoys.

Billy requires full support with all aspects of daily living including medication, personal care, meals and general day-to-day support.

This role would suit someone who is kind, observant and enjoys building positive relationships while supporting Billy to live a happy and fulfilling life
