Job summary

Enable is inviting Personal Assistants to join the team and provide compassionate support to Billy, a gentleman who is learning disabled and uses a wheelchair. You will help with daily living, mobility, meals, and social activities while building a trusting relationship.

Billy enjoys outings, visits from his family, and engaging in music groups. No prior care experience is required, and we value kindness, attentiveness, and the ability to include him in everyday life.

Meet Billy Billy is a friendly gentleman with a learning disability who is looking for caring and dedicated support staff to join his team. Billy is a wheelchair user and is non-verbal, however he understands direction and instruction very well. Staff who support Billy should be patient, attentive and include him in all aspects of daily life and activities. Billy enjoys spending time with others and especially loves visits from his mum, dad, sister and brother-in-law. He enjoys getting out and about on outings, watching people and traffic, and being involved in everything going on around him. One of Billy’s favourite activities is attending his music group, which he really enjoys. Billy requires full support with all aspects of daily living including medication, personal care, meals and general day-to-day support. This role would suit someone who is kind, observant and enjoys building positive relationships while supporting Billy to live a happy and fulfilling life
