Are you interested in working for an award-winning social care charity?
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a vital role within Enable, making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but your main role will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes—whatever they may be!
Support needs vary among individuals, so your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support, while also helping expand their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around each individual, and our Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.
The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me
The people we support have diverse interests, hobbies, and aspirations similar to our own; they often lack the opportunity to experience these. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse. Our Personal Assistants, at their best, can truly bring out the best in the people they support.
Let us introduce you to David:
David loves to be active. His days might include golfing, archery, or a trip to the MacDuff aquarium. A typical day could involve shopping for essentials, visiting the driving range, or enjoying a movie night at home. In his downtime, David enjoys movies, pub lunches, and visiting family. He receives support 7 days a week from two team members at all times. Unfortunately, he cannot always enjoy these simple pleasures without proper, dedicated support.
That’s why David needs you! Will you bring your best so he can live his best life?
If you share these interests, and have the commitment, dedication, and desire to support David, then please apply now!
Enable needs your values to help us create an equal society for everyone with a learning disability.
You don’t need prior care experience to start your social care career with Enable. We recruit based on values and transferable skills. Wherever your journey has taken you so far, join us, and together we can forge a rewarding new path!
