Job description


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the executive support function of the largest NHS Trust in England.

The post holder will be responsible for providing professional and efficient clerical and administrative support the Director of Corporate Service/Trust Secretary and the Senior Executive Assistant to the Group Chief Executive. The role will involve the management of key office procedures, coordination of Executive committees, and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.

Provide efficient, high quality and comprehensive personal assistant support. Demonstrate good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure, to use own initiative and undertake additional work as required.

Maintain a high professional standard of communication in person and on the telephone. The post holder is privilege to highly confidential and sensitive information and is expected to adopt the highest standards of professional conduct applying high levels of diplomacy and discretion.

Communicate on a day to day basis with staff at a very senior level internally and externally, i.e. Chairman, Chief Executive, Board Members, Corporate Directors, Clinical Group Chief Executives and Medical Directors, Consultants, Directors and other outside agencies.
