Location

: North Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours of work

: 4 hours per week term time, 7 hours per week during school holidays

Rate of pay

: £13.50 per hour

Job Description

: My son has Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Global Developmental Delay. The role involves supporting him to participate in activities such as going to the cinema and park, and previously visiting his PA’s house.

He has no sense of danger or awareness of strangers and requires supervision for his safety. He needs support with tasks like putting on his coat and shoes, linking arms due to safety concerns, and may require medication administration during activities.

Requirements: Driving licence and own vehicle are essential, as you will need to use your car to take him to activities (mileage paid).
