Location: Aldergate, Tamworth, Staffordshire

Rate of Pay: £9.50/hr

Job Role

To support a 42-year-old gentleman with Asperger’s in managing his tenancy and paperwork, attending appointments, and engaging in social activities to prevent isolation. Male applicants are preferred but not essential.

Main Duties
  • Personal duties: Not required
  • Domestic duties: Assistance with home maintenance, companionship, shopping, attending appointments, job searching, and handling paperwork related to banking, tenancy, and health.
  • Social duties: Support in joining or attending local sports groups, gyms, social clubs, and outings such as cinema, bowling, pool, and meals. Providing emotional support and managing friendships.
Working Hours

7.5 hours weekly, ideally split as 2.5 hours over three days, flexible based on availability.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Driving license preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with autism/Asperger’s, anxiety, or depression preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to build relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
