Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Location: Rocester, Uttoxeter

Rate of Pay: £11.00 per hour

Nature of the job role: Buddy/Personal Assistant to a veteran suffering from the effects of a brain injury

Main Duties:

Personal duties: Encourage the client to speak clearly when communicating with others. Ensure suitable clothing is worn by client for various activities and weather.

Domestic duties: Encourage and assist the client to complete domestic tasks as necessary.

Social Duties: Encourage the client to take part in varied social activities. Accompany client on social outings with the aim of frequent interaction with others. Provide transport to and from social activities or accompany client on public transport.

Hours of work: 16 hrs per week – flexible to suit client.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am – 13.30. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday evenings 21.00 – 22.00

Qualifications: A sense of humour and a willingness to take part in a variety of activities, to include walks, cooking, visits, sport and fitness activities, playing pool, shopping etc.

Skills & Experience:

The applicant would need to be a car driver with the use of own vehicle. Mileage costs will be reimbursed.
