Job description

A friendly and patient Personal Assistant is required to support a 12-year-old boy who lives in Galashiels with his family. He has Autism (ASD) and ADHD and would benefit from 1:1 support for 3 hours per week, giving his main carer some well-deserved respite.

Support will mainly take place at home, helping him stay engaged and safe. This could include spending time together playing games, doing creative activities, or other interests that keep him occupied. The most important thing is building a positive, trusting relationship and helping him enjoy his time while ensuring his safety and wellbeing.

Hours & Pay

• 3 hours per week (days and times can be agreed)
• £13.50 per hour
• PVG and references required
