Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to support an 18-year-old autistic woman with PTSD, emetophobia, and anxiety. The ideal candidate should be neurodivergent informed, therapeutic, creative, understanding, and flexible. It is essential to be adaptable, love animals, hold a valid driver's license, and be insured to drive a fully electric automatic car. The role involves providing personalized care, engaging in therapeutic activities, creating a safe environment, assisting with daily routines, transporting the individual, and building rapport with the family. Interests such as music, Marvel, Korean culture, and art are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized care and support based on the individual's needs
• Engaging in therapeutic activities and techniques to aid coping
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment
• Assisting with daily living tasks and routines
• Transporting the individual as needed
• Building a strong rapport with the individual and family

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience or knowledge in working with autism, PTSD, emetophobia, and anxiety
• Empathetic with emotional regulation skills
• Understanding of neurodiversity and support techniques
• Patience, compassion, and empathy
• Creativity in developing activities and strategies
• Flexibility and adaptability
