Job summary

ENABLE Scotland in Perth is seeking Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to provide practical support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities across daily activities. You will help with personal care, accompany to events, and enable participation in the local community.

No care experience is required; the charity values your values and transferrable skills. Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends, with 15 or 10 hour contracts available.

James is a fun and active young man who loves trains, sports (especially wrestling, swimming and football) and being social. James lives in his own home and receives one hour support in the morning to help with breakfast and medication, then four hours in the evening which includes activities, housework, dinner and medication. On the weekends, James also receives social support in the middle of the day.

James wants his personal assistants to be fun and outgoing with a great sense of humour. He also seeks someone who is willing to go to concerts and festivals with him, as well as someone who is open and honest, and can communicate and listen well.
