About The Role

Kilwinning, North Ayrshire

15 hour contract

Shift times are 8am - 8am, including overnight support

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

Jake is a fun loving young man who enjoys a full and exciting life in North Ayrshire. Jake wakes up every day with a smile on his face, he likes to take his dog for a walk, go swimming or be in the local coffee shop. Jake volunteers at the Parkrun at the weekends where he has lots of friends. He also works one afternoon a week at a local social enterprise. Jake enjoys bowling and also trying new things. Jake lives at home with Dad in a rural area and is looking to get his own tenancy soon. Jake requires support with all aspects of daily life, he has his own car which his wheelchair can fir into to make it easier for him to access his local community.
