Personal Assistant for elderly lady in Horfield for 18hrs/wk @ £12ph - Bristol - BS7

Looking for a reliable and kind personal assistant to support an individual who is visually impaired and needs support with everyday living.

Main duties include:

  1. Personal care
  2. Cleaning
  3. Ironing
  4. Shopping
  5. Appointments
  6. Socializing
  7. Preparing food
  8. Phone calls
  9. Gardening
It is essential that candidates have a full UK license to access the community, appointments and social activities. It is also essential for the correct candidate to be female due to the personal care requirements.

Values: Candidates for this role should demonstrate patience, communicate in a non-patronising manner, be engaged in their conversations, and listen to how the person wishes to be supported.

Hours: Mondays 4 hours, Fridays 6 hours, other hours may vary week to week due to appointments but the remaining 8 hours will be spread across the other days. Weekends at times may be requested but are not essential.

Pay: Rate of pay is £12ph with an increase to £12.50 for weekends. Full holiday pay and pension provided.
