Job description

Personal Assistant for an adult woman P/T @ £12.21/hr in Leeds LS16 - FTE - £22.3k

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Support with cooking and baking, including food hygiene and timing decisions.
  2. Assist in managing household tasks such as recycling, operating the dishwasher, and laundry duties (washing, drying, ironing, and putting away).
  3. Provide motivation and help to initiate and complete tasks, including taking appropriate breaks.
  4. Help maintain the home in a state suitable for regular cleaning, identifying tasks that need attention.
  5. Assist in organizing after a recent house move, particularly in the kitchen and bedroom.
  6. Support in managing anxiety and decision-making processes.
  7. Help find additional support services (e.g., driving instructor, accountant, tradespeople) and assist with making phone calls.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Positive and accepting attitude towards the LGBTQ community.
  2. Neurodivergent-affirming approach.
  3. Interest in discussing current topics.
  4. Willingness to cook meat and dairy products if vegan or vegetarian.
Personal Interests:

Enjoys folk/traditional dancing and music, gardening, wildlife, and cats. Likes photography and walking in places like Goldenacre Park or on Otley Chevin.
