Disability North is seeking a female personal assistant to support Katrina in High Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves personal care, feeding, and supervision, with inclusion of community activities and outings. Flexibility is essential and weekend hours may be required.

A clean UK driving licence is preferred for mobility access. Hours: 4 per week; Rate: £13.50 per hour. Applicants must have permission to work in the U.K.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs is preferred.
• Able to assist with personal care, feeding and supervision as required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and travel to activities.

Responsabilités

• Assist Katrina with personal care including pad changes and feeding.
• Provide prompts and supervision to ensure adequate intake and safety.
• Support mobility and accompany to community visits and activities.
