Disability North in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to support a 15-year-old. The role includes helping with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and accompanying the family on outings.

Flexibility is important, with 5 hours per week during term time and up to 8 hours per week in school holidays. Applicants with prior childcare experience are preferred, especially those familiar with Pegs and Visual Stories; others will be considered.

Qualifications

• Previous childcare experience preferred, especially with Pegs and Visual Stories.
• Must be able to work with a young person and family; flexibility to discuss hours with employer.

Responsabilités

• Assist with bathing and getting dressed.
