Job Purpose I am a lively 13 year girl who is, non-verbal and epileptic. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support myself and my family. When I am out in the community, I use a wheelchair to keep me safe because I have no safety awareness.
I love spending time outside in our garden, playing on the trampoline and swing. Although I don’t sit still for long, I like playing with Lego, looking at books and playing on my tablet. I also like going out for walks. Initially you will support me at home until we have built up trust and confidence for you to take me out.
To support me with my Epilepsy you will be required to undertake Epilepsy training, and training on the administration of Buccolam (epilepsy emergency medication) before you commence work. We will organise this training.
