Job description

Personal Assistant for a young person - 16 hrs p/w F/T @ £16.47/hr in Bristol - BS49

We are looking for a confident and skilled individual to assist a 9-year-old male with complex needs. The preferred candidate should have paediatric medical experience in North Somerset / South Bristol.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting with manual handling and personal care.
  2. Tube feeding and managing epilepsy.
  3. Administering allergy treatments (epi pens).
  4. Providing first aid and operating medical nebulisers.
  5. Managing suction and oxygen use.
  6. Administering IM injections.

Full training will be provided through lifetime community nurse and qualified medical staff from the Bristol children's hospital.

A driving licence is preferred to take the individual to activities. A wheelchair-accessible car will be provided.

Flexible hours available from mornings to evenings, including weekdays and weekends, with day and night shifts.

Work Schedule: 16 hours per week.
Hourly Rate: Self-employed £16.47 / Employed £12.73
