Personal Assistant for a Young Man

Location: Great Yarmouth

Pay: £16/hr (Part-Time)

Overview:

I am looking for a reliable, caring Personal Assistant (PA) who has a good sense of humour for my 34-year-old son, who is severely sight impaired and has short-term memory loss due to a brain injury suffered a few years ago. This role is to help him get out and about locally and away from his home.

He enjoys a bit of banter but also needs quiet time as his brain can get overloaded.

Schedule:

• 3 hours on Sundays
• Some Saturdays
• Holiday cover when his PA is on holiday

Responsibilities:

• Drive out for trips in the local area, possibly for a hot drink, a walk, or whatever you both decide would be nice on the day, depending on the weather.

Requirements:

• Driving is essential; you must have your own vehicle.
• Fuel costs will be covered at the going rate.
• Looking for a PA who works on a self-employed basis.
