Personal Assistant for a Lady 5 Hrs P/W @ £12.38 P/H in NR18 - Wymondham - NR18

I'm looking for a compassionate and friendly female personal assistant to help me with daily living tasks. Your role will be key in supporting me to maintain my independence. I am a registered disabled individual living with a friendly dog, so applicants must be comfortable around dogs.

Job Description:

1. Assisting with batch cooking and meal preparation
2. Assisting with grocery shopping
3. Supporting me with accessing the community for outings and activities
4. Assisting with housekeeping tasks.
5. Any other reasonable duties as requested.

Person Specification

Essential:

1. The ideal candidate would require calming, reassuring, caring, and patience.
2. The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.
3. Must be female and comfortable working with someone with a disability.
4. Must be comfortable around dogs.

Desirable:

1. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.

Summary Terms and Conditions

1. The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour.
2. Hours and times of work: 5 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview.
3. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
4. Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
5. The post is subject to the following:
1. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
2. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
3. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.

If this position requires any of the following, the employee will be required to complete free annual training.
