Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Assistant for a seven-year-old girl in North Leeds. The PA will support daily care, activities, and outings, with training in Makaton where needed. The role involves personal care, meal prep, and helping Molly stay engaged and independent.

Hours are 6 hours per week during school holidays, with flexible scheduling. A driving licence and own car are preferred; safeguarding training will be provided. £12.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence and access to a car with appropriate insurance.
• Knowledge of English is essential; good communication skills required.
• Willingness to learn signals/makaton or BSL is important.
• Confidentiality and ability to build trusting relationships with family and care recipient.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and cooking assistance.
• Personal care including grooming and dressing.
• Domestic care and light housekeeping as needed.
• Support to participate in social and leisure activities.
• Assist to remain independent and accompany to activities.
