Welcome to our dynamic and forward-thinking team. We’re looking for a proactive, highly organised, and adaptable Personal Assistant to support the Head of Financial and Actuarial Risk and the wider leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic and high-impact function, providing essential support across a range of operational and strategic activities.

The role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence. You’ll be a key enabler for the team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the delivery of key initiatives.

Working Pattern
This is a part-time vacancy (3 days per week) with the potential to increase to full-time in the future, depending on business needs.

  • Provide comprehensive diary and administrative support to the Head of Financial and Actuarial Risk and senior team members.
  • Manage calendars proactively, balancing priorities and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Organise internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements, process expenses, and liaise with external providers as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, presentations, and reports.
  • Take accurate minutes and maintain action logs for key meetings.
  • Support onboarding of new team members, including IT setup, access requests, and welcome sessions.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of team meetings, workshops, and social events, including budget tracking.
  • Liaise with recruitment partners to support hiring processes and candidate coordination.
  • Monitor and support performance management activities, including scheduling one-to-ones and appraisals.
  • Collaborate with other EAs and PAs across the business to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and suggest practical solutions

Skills and Experience

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working flexibly and adapting to changing priorities.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a financial or risk-related environment is desirable but not essential.
