Job summary

Enable is recruiting Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to join Bankhall Court in Govanhill, Glasgow. You will support adults living with dementia, helping with personal care, moving and handling, and facilitating activities to promote wellbeing.

We offer a safe, supportive environment where no two days are the same, with 8am-8pm shifts available and options for part-time or full-time roles. Experience is not required as values and transferrable skills are valued.

Bankhall Court is based in Govanhill, It is a residential Dementia service for 17 people who are supported to live well with various types of Dementia. It’s a safe, supportive environment where people can be encouraged to take part in various activities.

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enableby making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

Bankhall court provides 24 hour care to seventeen adults with a diagnosis of Dementia We have a comfortable, homely environment.
