Job description

Hours: Term time 4 hours and up to 14 hours holiday time (to be arranged flexibly)

Location: Great Park, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne

Rate: £13.00 per hour

We are seeking a Personal Assistant for Dakota, a lively 9-year-old girl who enjoys chase and tickle games, outdoor activities, and social interactions. Dakota is energetic, loves going to the beach, swimming, soft play, and trampolining. She is outgoing and empathetic, often trying to comfort others. Due to her limited sense of danger, supervision is essential, especially near roads or traffic. She can be stubborn and may protest if she doesn't want to go somewhere.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children, preferably with experience working with disabled children. A valid UK driving license is essential, as mileage will be reimbursed.

This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references. The vacancy will be filled once a suitable candidate is appointed. Applicants must have permission to work in the UK at the start of employment.
