Hourly pay rate: £12.21

Job Description

We are looking for a PA to look after our lovely daughter. She is 17, autistic with ADHD and severe learning disabilities. She is a very vulnerable child with no appreciation of danger from people, vehicles, etc. She needs constant adult supervision outside of her home or school. She is mostly happy and enjoys company but sometimes needs her own space when agitated. She is transitioning from school to home and requires support during this period.

The role involves assisting with her transition from the taxi back from school to our house and helping her settle down for a couple of hours each school day. Her mum will be present at the house, and the PA will look after our daughter while mum attends to her younger sibling.

Responsibilities include

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. The role may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis, depending on mutual agreement. If employed, holiday pay and an employment contract will be provided.
