Role

We are looking for a personal assistant to support an 8-year-old male who would like support for attending clubs and having some fun out and about.

Our client has a global development delay, specific dietary requirements among other health issues. He can sometimes have high anxiety also. This role will be to assist our client to attend his music group, then fill his time with some other activities. Our client loves going to the park and enjoys being on the go. As part of this role there will also be elements of personal care.

Our client is a happy, caring, funny and emotional person who loves routine and building relationships with those around him. An ideal applicant in this role would also think up new activities and fun things to do. Drivers will also be preferred but any interested non-drivers are also welcome to apply.

Applicants must have a caring attitude, be patient and understanding to our clients feelings, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
