Job summary

A local support service is seeking a Male Personal Assistant in Nantwich to support an athletic young man with neurodiversity. The ideal candidate should be understanding, trustworthy, and fun. Responsibilities include taking the client to social outings, helping improve his independence skills, and engaging in conversations about his interests. This role offers 4 hours per week at £12.21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with neurodiversity required.
• Must be enthusiastic and flexible.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

**MALE Personal Assistant / Carer**


Purpose of the job:


* Male personal assistant required in Nantwich, CW5 area.


* The client is a brilliant young man who is chatty, athletic, sociable, has a great sense of humor and loves the outdoors!
* The client enjoys all aspects of the farming community and has grown up around agriculture and tractors. His keenness needs further supporting with safety awareness.
* The client enjoys travel, music and days out, and is keen to further develop his independence skills.
* The PA will need to have experience of supporting young people with neurodiversity.


**Hours and rate of Pay:**


* 4 hours per week
* £12.21 per hour



**Main Duties:**


* I am looking for a PA to be my buddy. I want you to be the driver (although Im learning to drive!) and take me out to:
* The cinema I love action movies.


*
Sporting events I like to watch football, cricket, anything outdoors;
Bowling I am competitive and enjoy socialising.


* Id also like to have chats with you about things that interest me like farming, trains, and sports.
* Id like you to help me further develop my independence with my belongings, my money, my time management and how I can keep myself safe.


**Personal Assistant Specification / My PA needs to be:**
Understanding of neurodiversity.
Good fun, wanting to learn about me.
Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
Respectful of my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
Enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
Able to work well independently.
Able to drive.
Accountable to me in all aspects of their work.
