We’re looking for a kind, reliable, and patient personal assistant to support a cheerful 6-year-old boy at weekends. He’s non-verbal but expressive, and he enjoys music, animals, art, and outdoor play.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (eczema cream, assistance in buggy)
• Keep the child safe (supervise closely due to risk of running off or going with strangers)
• Support with emergency oral medication for allergies
• Offer comfort and reassurance (hugs when distressed)
• Engage in outdoor and sensory activities
• Maintain a clean vehicle environment (due to allergies)

The family prefers a non-smoker.

You should have a good sense of humour, be vigilant, and have a caring, flexible approach. Ideally, you can coordinate hours with a second assistant supporting the child’s brother.
