Une opportunité fantastique de rejoindre une équipe de soutien établi pour aider un jeune homme vivant avec l'autisme à maximiser son potentiel d'indépendance. Le candidat idéal doit posséder un permis de conduire et démontrer des compétences en compassion et en gestion du comportement. Les heures de travail sont de 21 heures par semaine, réparties en trois quarts de travail.

Qualifications

  • Doit avoir un permis de conduire.
  • Doit être capable de conduire la voiture de l'employeur.
  • Expérience de travail avec des personnes ayant des besoins spéciaux souhaitée.

Responsibilities

  • Soutenir un jeune vivant avec l'autisme.

Job Description:

Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: Direct Payment Employer

Location: Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours of work: 21 hours per week

Normally 3 shifts 10:00 to 17:00 (can differ for early/late activities).

Rate of pay: £14.50 per hour

Must have full driving licence (do not need a car but have to be able to drive Alex’s car).

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in an established PA support team, supporting a young man living in his own home.

Job Purpose

Working as part of a team providing good support for a young man who has autism.

Enabling him to maximise his potential for independence within his home and his community with appropriate support.

Creating an environment where he is safe, happy, and stimulated.

To ensure his relationships with family and friends are valued and supported.

About me

Alex lives in his own place with support from a team of PAs who provide high quality support to meet his needs.

Alex loves to get out into the country and big open spaces, he enjoys being active and attending dance classes, swimming, and the gym.

Within his home Alex does a lot of arts and crafts and is a fantastic Lego builder.

Routine and structure are extremely important in Alex’s life, and this is essential to support him with his behaviour.

You will need a clean driving licence for this role and be happy to drive the employer’s vehicle.
