Personal Assistant / Admin Support
Business Area – Communication & Public Affairs
Location – Swindon or London
Contract Type – Permanent
Working Hours – Part time (24 hours, 3 days a week)
Closing Date – 29 May 2024
Main Purpose of the Role
This role involves regular interaction with senior management, stakeholders, and internal teams within RWE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to team leaders for UK Corporate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of UK Policy and Public Affairs and Head of UK Communications with administrative duties.
- Manage diaries, coordinate meetings, and plan internal and external events.
- Arrange UK and internal business travel and accommodations.
- Handle emails and correspondence, prioritizing urgent actions and directing communications.
- Process invoices and purchase orders, and issue receipts.
- Collaborate closely with other Assistants and PAs internally and externally.
- Order IT and office supplies as needed.
Knowledge & Skills
- Extensive administrative experience with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with senior management and stakeholders.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Reliable, proactive, and confident, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle short-notice changes under pressure.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, and SAP.
