Job summary

Capability Scotland - SDS Brokerage is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant to support a young client for 5 hours each weekend. The role involves outings to soft play areas, parks and forest walks, plus assisting with toileting and safety in the community.

The successful candidate must have experience with autism, be patient, and hold a full driving licence with a car suitable for business insurance. PVG check is required.

Job description

Hi, I am a 6 year old who is looking for a friendly PA for 5 hours per week. I have autism and limited speech so need someone who is patient as I can have meltdowns if something upsets me. I need someone who can come for 5 hours on the weekend and take me out. I like going to soft play areas, parks and going for walks in the forest.

I am looking for someone who has experience working with child who have autism. The role would also include help with toileting and making sure I am safe within the community. You would need a full driving license and a car that you could get business insurance on.

The rate of pay would be £13.45 per hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. A suitable PVG is required.
