Self Direct Support Options Fife in Glenrothes, Scotland is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to help a 56-year-old man who experiences anxiety and mobility challenges. We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 56 year old male who experiences a lot of anxiety and low mental health. He experiences mobility issues and uses either a walking stick or scooter when outside especially as can be unsteady.

We are looking for someone who is chatty, upbeat and has compassion whilst assisting him to wash or go out. A lovely individual who needs assistance with:

• Getting out and about

He enjoys watching television, getting out and about, and exploring shops and local entertainment venues. He is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Personal Assistant who can support him to enjoy these activities and make the most of his interests.

Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) where you will be asked to provide a copy of your certificate to your new Employer for their records
